Beautiful quiet location by the river but within easy walking distance of the town. The 'roulettes' or little caravans are charming, the décor is lovely and they are well equipped. The owners are helpful and charming. Sun loungers and table and chairs outside the caravan and, a few metres away by the river, mean you can relax outside too.
Whilst we were there a pipe had to be excavated by digger, right next to our caravan so it was a little noisy but, as we were only there overnight it didn't bother us too much and the owner was very apologetic.

Fantastic location in the centre of Cognac. Secluded gardens on river very pretty for city break. If you fancy something a bit different (ideal as a romantic break) then this will be perfect. Well appointed accomodation with some nice touches to make it feel homely.

The location was particularly good, right beside a restaurant that has great food, with an amazing view. It was also very close to the center of Cognac, close to Henessey and the river.

Everything was excellent, so were NICE views of gardens and river. The setting was wonderful, near the Charentes river, an old factory and the centre. It also was very close to the center.

side:
Base yourself on the reviews and experience staying at this riverside gem, situated near great restaurants with scenic surroundings for walks and cognac tours close by. the accommodations were beautiful, clean and well equipped for a luxurious stay, including comfortable rooms, balcony with tables and chairs and a few with an excellent view of the Charentes river, gardens and children's play area. the friendly, responsive service and free, secure parking truly made for a stress-free stay.
Side: Although the overall experience was great, the bathroom could have been larger for larger parties and for those who do not prefer wet rooms.

We had a very enjoyable stay in a long time. The hotel was unique and fairly clean, had pleasant views of the garden and the river. All of the staff were very friendly, patient. Our double room with central heating, a coffee/tea maker, and multi-channel television was updated. The location was peaceful and ideal, for example, an Old house was around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue.

Unique, and well designed accommodation in the heart of Cognac. The roulettes are very well equipped, and nicely furnished, plus the generous outside space gave a level of privacy that we were not expecting. The site gives all the tranquility of a countryside setting, whilst offering very easy access to the facilities of the town centre. We would certainly book again.

Fun well appointed 'gypsy caravan' near Cognac , easy walk over river to town . Private setting from each of 3-4 caravans near Charente river. Staff/owners helpful and happy. Areas to visit, Coastal eg Marennes ect for oysters, sea salts, Royan ect. Cognac , factories and charm of old town worth a 2-3 day stop.

Gorgeous boutique luxury "Gipsy" style caravans - not even "glamping". Very Very special and only 3 at the moment - so if available, don't look anywhere else! Only steps away from the center of Cognac which was a lovely stopover for us en-route to Dordogne.
